Tissue paper is one of our favourite types of crafting material. You can ball it up, layer it or use it as a fun addition to add different textures. But for this craft we are going to use it in one of our favourite ways, making 3D creations!

Craft Instructions
1) Trace your shape onto your piece of construction paper. We made some nice flowers. If you did not want to make a flower you could make anything you want! A face, car, insect, balloon or your favourite animal, are some suggestions.
2) Cut out your shape, making sure it is the proper size on your wrist. If you think it’s too big you can trim some of the paper off, if it’s too small use it as a starting point to trace a larger shape.
3) Next, let’s get our glue and tissue paper ready. We used Colorations Mini Tissue Paper Squares for our craft and Colourations White Glue. If you do not have pre-cut squares, just cut some tissue paper into easy to use squares between 1” and 1.5”.
Next, pour some of the white glue into a container or cup. You don’t need too much glue because you can always add more if needed.
4) Take your pencil and a square of tissue paper, and wrap the paper around the end of your pencil. Then, take the flat end and dip it in the glue.
5) 5) Once you have some glue on your tissue paper, take the end and press it onto your cut-out shape. You can even spin the pencil a little bit to try and help the tissue stand on its own.
6) Continue to glue your tissue paper pieces, close to the pieces you already have glued on. Slowly add each piece of tissue paper to fill your cut-out shape with paper.
7) Once you have completed your cut-out, take a piece of construction paper to make your bracelet. Since we made our cut-out into a flower, we chose green construction paper to look like a stem on our wrist.
8) Mark a line for your bracelet and use your scissors to cut it out. Using your glue, loop your wrist band around and fasten it into a loop.
9) Once your bracelet is ready, use your glue to fasten your band to the back of your shape.
