Craft Instructions

1) First, take your clothespin and give it some colour! We picked red for our clothespin critter. We coloured his body with a red Kwik Stix and we used a red marker and pencil crayon to colour the inside of the mouth.

2) Next, take your scrap paper and create some flair for the back of your critter. We made some spiky spines for his back. What can you think of?

3) Then you are going to add some legs. Take a pipe cleaner and cut it into smaller pieces. Then take those pieces and wrap them around the lower half of your clothespin. One loop around will work great! You can then use your legs to help your critter stand.

4) For your last step, take your wiggly eyes and glue them on to the back of your new Clothespin Critter. What kind of critter did you make? Are they scary, or are they nice? Where do they live? What kind of story can you create for your critter!
