Is it getting hot out? Let’s get ready for the warmer weather with some nice cool popsicles! This craft is a fun and imaginative activity that uses simple materials, colouring tools and left over, scrap craft material to create your own fun, unique and exciting popsicle flavors.
You will need
Construction Paper- Craft Sticks
- Scissors
- Markers/Kwik Stix/Crayons or Pencil Crayons
- Glue
- Scrap Craft Material
Craft Instructions
1) Our first step is to take our construction paper sheet and fold it in half. Then use one of our drawing/writing tools to trace out our popsicles. Then cut out your popsicles with your crafting scissors!
2) Next, we will glue our two popsicles together and add the stick. Put glue on both of your popsicle halves with your glue stick. CRAFTING TIP: Flip your halves so any left-over marks are not seen.
3) Now place your popsicle stick in the middle of your popsicle pieces (above) and stick the two popsicle halves together.
4) Once your popsicle pieces are together, use your scrap craft material, markers, crayons and Kwik Stixs to create your popsicle. What flavour is your popsicle? Does your popsicle have anything else on it that is special about it?
