## **DIY Slime** is great for kids of all ages. Slime is a great way to introduce early science concepts and is always a lot of fun!  

Slime is a fantastic tool for sensory play, a great way to develop fine motor strength, and kids love it!

### What you'll need

- 1/2 cup [Cra-Z-Slime White Glue](https://www.scholarschoice.ca/sc-toys/special-events/slime/cra-z-slime-white-glue-16oz.html)
- Approx. 1 tbsp baking soda or corn starch
- Approx. 1/4 tbsp [Colorations Powder Tempera Paint](https://www.scholarschoice.ca/1-lb-colorations-powder-tempra.html)
- [Glitter](https://www.scholarschoice.ca/glitter-set-6-3-4oz-red-blue-green-gold-silver-multi.html) - how much is too much?
- [Jumbo Craft Stick](https://www.scholarschoice.ca/sc-toys/category/arts-crafts-materials/wood-crafts/jumbo-craft-sticks-75-pk.html)
- Mixing Bowl

### Directions

Pour Cra-Z-Slime White Glue into a large bowl.

Add baking soda. Try experimenting with the amount of baking soda you use. Ask children, "What do you think will happen if we add a lot? What if we use hardly any?" Try corn starch if you want an Oobleck type slime. 

Add tempera powder paint.

Mix.

Add glitter.

Time to get your hands dirty! Remove the slime from the bowl and knead if necessary.
