# How To Use Decorative In Places Other Than Bulletin Boards
# We are so excited about the new [Eureka Blue Harmony](https://www.scholarschoice.ca/sc-teachers/category/classroom-decoratives/classroom-collections.html?cat=16912) line of decoratives that just came in to Scholar's Choice!
What better way to showcase this gorgeous blue peacock and mandala inspired line than to show you what kinds of beautiful ways you can use it in your own classroom? There are so many more ways to use decorative than just on the bulletin board, so we wanted to put some together ourselves!
Here are a few examples we came up with:
## 1. Make your filing cabinet multi-functional *and* beautiful!
Use decorative borders on your old grey file cabinet to spruce it up. We also attached some [chalkboard poster board](https://www.scholarschoice.ca/pacon-chalkboard-poster-board.html) to create another writing surface!
## 2. Organize your storage bins
Isn't storage so much more satisfying when it is pretty too? We Used the Blue Harmony [Reusable Letters](https://www.scholarschoice.ca/blue-harmony-circle-letters-deco-letters.html) to brighten up these homework bins.

## 3. Create word family flip books
These Blue Harmony [Paper Cutouts](https://www.scholarschoice.ca/blue-harmony-assorted-round-paper-cut-outs.html) are meant for decorating the bulletin board, but they can be used for so much more! Have students create word family books using them as the cover!

## 4. Laminate letters and use them as writing prompts
The Blue Harmony Reusable Letters can also be used in creative writing! Hand out a stack of random letters to small groups of children to then put together into a small story of their own. the options are endless!

## 5. Use paper cutout mandalas as examples for art class
Have students work on patterns and repetition in art class using these beautiful blue and green paper cutouts as inspiration.
## 6. Write numbers and operators on paper cutouts for a fun and simple math game!
Give students a stack of random numbers and operators and get them to arrange them into equations on the floor. Challenge them to make the biggest grid possible!
