Magic of Childhood: Inspired Construction Play
Open-ended construction using undefined bricks or blocks such as loose parts allows children to use their imagination to build and create through discovery based learning. Encouraging block play in our childcare centres will create a gateway into; language, writing, math, measurement, and social development. Promote play by setting up provocations for children, help them to grow and develop but remember there is no right or wrong way for children to play.
